What's going on in the world of Bama Football Spring Practice? Not much has been coming out since Saturday. I did hear where Tyrone Prothro had his surgery to remove scar tissue that was limiting mobility in his ankle (click here for article). I hate to say this but I really don't expect him to ever return to the field in an official capacity as a player. I am sorry for him as he was a "spark-plug" for the offense.

Kentucky Basketball is going through it's woes of success! Very similar to Alabama football of late, success breeds issues with sustaining that success. It is sad but true! Paul Finebaum has an interesting article this morning asking the question which job is tougher the Alabama Football job or the Kentucky basketball job (click here for article)? Billy Donovan to UK? I don't think so but the rumor I heard today on the radio was a huge amount of money - similar to Saban at Bama in football terms. Rick Pitino is not interested in UK (click here for article) and John Calipari is off the market (click here for article).

Stan Heath is out at Arkansas (click here for article)! I am really surprised since they did go to the big dance. Although they were put out by USC, USC was very good! Who do they get now??? Rumor has it that they are persuing the Texas A&M coach.

I am sure that most of you are excited about the college football season for Alabama but this isn't the same for Saban or the Tide Staff (click here for details). The excitment is at an all time high! It's so out of control that one avid Bama fan named their new born son Saban! Their firstborn is named Tyde (click here for article)!
